A lot more difficult than it needs to be. Despite the extensive and adequate car park, it's commonplace, and apparently entirely acceptable, for customers to park directly outside the store in unmarked areas. This makes it incredibly difficult to reverse out of the marked bays opposite, especially if you've got a larger vehicle. The parent and child bays are unhelpfully placed a distance away from the store entrance, and even further away from the trolleys. Trying to negotiate an unwieldy trolley and a cold, bored toddler across the main stream of traffic whilst dodging reversing, struggling vehicles is difficult and dangerous to say the least. Today I was served by a super friendly cashier who spent the entire time being super friendly to the person she was chatting away to on her mobile phone headset, whilst absent mindedly grating my cauliflower to shreds on the rollers at the till.If you do succeed in completing your shopping and escape with your child's, your shopping's, and your own life intact, a fair amount of products go mouldy before the use by date. But don't bother complaining to the management, their response is that it's not their problem. Apparently it's the suppliers who label the dates incorrectly, it's nothing to do with them and all complaints should be made via email to head office in any case. I won't be bothering to go there again and I'm sure my one person boycott will make all the difference.
Easy to park with out motorhome, perfect place to stock up on provisions. Very tidy and clean, plus friendly staff on the tills. A nice welcome back to UK!
A shop that does its job. Straight in and out, no hassle. Clean, cheap and clear-cut. Staff are helpful. Options of self check-out (a lot of stop starting, as you need to wait for assistance for the minimalistic of errors, but that's expected). If a queue starts to build up, they will open a new till, so not a long wait. Recommend
Much better than Lidl in town. It really is everything they are striving towards. Still can't get referring you are looking for though so still find I need to ship elsewhere for certain things.
Good prices. I think I must save 10 to 15 quid per week when shopping here. Although need to check veg is fresh
